Poppy Parker is ready for her British Invasion in a Union Jack mini-dress. She sports cherry red, fully rooted hair, a mod faux leather scooter (or racing) coat, bobby hat and bright white knee-high laced boots, Poppy also comes with a matching jewelry set, a purse and three British themed pillows. For adult collectors ages 15 and up only. This doll cannot stand alone; a doll stand is included. Note: The doll and the chair are sold separately, with the 3 throw pillows coming with the doll.. This is an amazing release, especially for mod lovers. The doll is absolutely amazing with her cherry red hair, mod make up and styling. The Union Jack dress is a bit too on the nose but it's definitely going to be very popular. The mod coat, hat, boots and bag perfectly finish the look. Her jewelry looks perfect too. The coat reminds me of the one worn by Sweet Confection Poppy.
The perfection continues to the box she comes in: it is made to resemble an iconic British red phone booth! We already knew this would be coming but seeing how good it looks... amazing!
The chair is a reproduction in scale of the iconic Ball Chair, designed back in 1963 by the brilliant Finish designer Eero Arnio. It must not be confused with the egg chair, which is egg shapd and designed by Arne Jacobsen, a famous Danish architect and designer of that era. The price of the chair is good too, so I'd love to see more reproductions of iconic chairs released with Integrity Toys dolls. We already have the Barcelona (FR) and the Panton (Dynamite Girls) chairs, so please IT, give us more!
