The Chemist is fashionably late... on time for the Greek Revolution's 200th anniversary

If you are on the Superdoll mailing list, you got an email a few days ago that a new doll was arriving on the 25th of March - and here she is! Chemist is a gorgeous Venus resin doll, dressed in a fantastic outfit that, combined iwth the banner she was photographed with, reminded me of heroines of the Greek Revolution of 1821 that gave Greece its independence from the Ottoman Empire. The crazy coincedence is that she is released on the very day the Greek Revolution celebrates its 200th anniversary. Love it. Gorgeous blunt curved fringe and below waist length dead straight wig. Classic edge; bearing white double bow detail beside her face. Sky blue eyes surround in shades of red and dark violet with shaded purple under eye, fine black eyeliner, dusted lids and etched charcoal double wing eyeliner to top. Lips of illuminated red.

Extraordinary billowed gown of white corseted bodice and croissant hip patisseries,' CAPTURED BY ATTRACTION' then 'FALLING WITH LOVE' to the ground in a volumous statement. Integrity Toys releases a new trans doll - and she's a Billion Dollar Baddie

As promised in W Club emails, we had a live presentation with Alain Trembley, Carol Roth and Jessy Ayala last Friday. After giving us news about the convention - it will be virtual this year too, with more participants but less dolls - and a Jem and The Holograms giftset, we got down to business: the unveiling of two new Nu Face dolls that belong to the Reckless Behavior collection, a continuation of the popular 2016 Reckless line. One is Rayna (again! surely Jesse loves this sculpt) and the much awaited Latinx new character, Alejandra Luna. She’s trans and although the first in a main line release, she’s not the first trans doll Integrity Dolls have made. In 2006, Jason Wu designed Amanda Lepore doll for them, a collection of three wigged dolls made from RealSkin resin which mimicked porcelain. Contrary to those very limited editions, Alejandra, alongside Rayna, will be available from dealers - where I hear they are mostly sold out already. The price is $160.00, same as FR dolls were last year.. Wild Feeling Rayna’s mini giftset in December was $175.00, but honestly these two are more value for money.

I was not expecting Rayna to make an appearance so soon after her last one in December, but here she is. And I definitely do not mind as she is breathtaking! While Jessy said she has Natural Wonder Rayna’s screening (another gorgeous Rayna I am the lucky owner of), she reminds me much more of Rock Me, Baby Rayna from the 2012 IFDC convention. Her outfit is amazing and very detailed. I love the eyelet detail and the layering over the mesh t-shirt. The accessories are top-notch: we have the Nu Face choker making an appearance again, as well as a repeat of the teddy-bear backpack, but in a BDSM fetish style. The shrunk leather cap with rhinestone studs is perfection, as well as the unusual gloves and N/F earrings, Hair barrettes, a ring, bracelets and booties complete the look. I was lucky enough to be confirmed for her.

First main line trans doll Alejandra Luna is a gorgeous doll that rocks a fiery outfit. Her sculpt is beautiful and modern, without suffering from the bloated head syndrome that some other new sculpts have. Jessy said she took a lot of time to fine tune and was inspired (more in essence and not exact look) by the trans Bosnian/Australian model/actress Andreja Pejic. I do not see any connection but maybe if we get a version with colours closer to Andreja’s, we might see something. Jessy also said she was made to look like a younger Eugenia Perrin. He said that the hair in the production doll might not be as long. The look is reminiscent of Zerina Akers’ work with Beyoncé. and I love it. The dress has something of Clash Control Erin, the shoes are from Alexander McQueen ad the bag looks like the Balenciaga Hourglass bag. Got confirmed for her as well, so I’m happy!

First Basic Poppy Parker doll arriving soon!

W Club members were notified by mail about the next doll in the open Basic Edition series, Poppy Parker. People were wondering, from the very first time basic open edition dolls were premiered, whether Poppy would be offered in such a way, and finally here she is. Like the previous dolls in this series, this new basic edition doll is made in open edition size, whereas when she "sells-out", more will be produced and then made available for sale in the IT shopping cart. While these will ship in waves, once the initial shipment that is currently in the IT warehouse sells out, the next run should ship later this year. Here’s the chance to get a Poppy Parker doll in a low price. Due to the popularity of the character though, Integrity will be selling this one a bit differently. For the first 24h, W Club members will be getting a special online form to fill in, that will go live Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at Noon Eastern Time. IT will then start to notify individuals in batches during that day until all doll requests are accounted for. Like the previous open Basic Edition dolls in the series, these dolls will be available to everyone on release day, members and non-members alike. People allocated a doll from IT will have until NOON ET on March 23rd, to complete their purchase for the number of dolls allocated. If they don’t complete the purchase, the doll goes again up for sale.. At around 12:30 ET on March 23rd, if any dolls remain, they will be made available for anyone to grab directly in the IT shopping cart and those who signed up early will lose the priority purchase window if their purchase isn’t complete. Remember that this doll will be available for purchase later this year, once a new shipment arrives..

Weird that they are only offering one version of the most popular IT character as a basic open edition - but that could be because of the new system they are trying out to ease the strain on their servers. I loved the doll upon first sight, and was even thinking about getting her, but then realized that she looks so much like other Poppy dolls I already have. So I will not get her - at least for now. Her outfit reminds me a lot of Calendar Shot Gene Marshall.
